I'm Jealous AZ. I really wanted to run out there for the race. My weekend was a wedding on Sat - which was actually a lot of fun and we met some great people sitting at our table. And Sunday over at a friends house to watch the race and the Lakers!

Rode and rode andthen some more riding...

I got a new TACKYON Bike Cam that I am doing a product review on so i "had" to ride a lot this weekend to test it out.

Saturday we rode north along the coast thru Venice, Santa Monica and Malibu.  We stopped for lunch at a place called Patrick's Road House then headed into the Santa Monica Mountains for a quick stop at the Rock Store.  On the way home we took the inland route through Hollywood.  About a 200 mile loop altogether.

On Sunday I took a ride across Ortega Highway to visit the Grand Kids.

Here is my first video with the new camera...

As you can see from Lucky's post, we rode through Malibu and the Santa Monica mountains. It wasn't as scary as I thought it would be, but we were the only Road King on the road. The rest were sport bikes!

Worked the World of Outlaws Sprint car show. Got to interview Joey Saldana who won the main event. Was going to go on a long ride Sunday but our friends bike died and had to be trailered to dealer. He got a loaner bike and we just rode locally. Beautiful day!!!!!!!!

Nice video Lucky, the color & resolution is good and it seems to soak up the bumps with no problem,How did you mount the camera? I like the parts where the sport riders are whizing bye, gives one a better impression of the speed involved.
    2 thumbs up !!!

    Thanks blurplebuzz...

I mounted the camera to the right blinker on my Road King using the handle bar clamp.
It's out of the way and I can still reach it to turn it on and off...

I worked all weekend. Some idiot tipped over a fork lift and it landed on one of the primary generators for the job site. Spent the entire weekend removing the old generator and installing a new one. Now if that ain't the way to have fun, I just don't know what is!!!!

Well took dads truck and changed the brakes and was on my way home today in the cage and it overheated with no warning. Stopped at a stop sign and it dies and then the temp peggs out. So much for changing my brakes and washing it tomarrow.

Went to a paddlesports expo with a couple of friends and spent too much on whitewater kayaking gear. But the new helmet will come in handy this spring when I'm upside down in the river, banging my head against all the %&$! rocks.

The best part of the weekend was looking at the weather forecast when I got home. Rain today and tonight, 60 degrees tomorrow and almost 70 on Wednesday. Incredibly warm for northern Wisconsin, but it means the bike and I will be reacquainting ourselves very soon.
