Had a nice relaxing weekend around the house with family and friends.  I did ride a little on Saturday to run up to the hobby store in Fountain Valley to get some new parts for my sons remote control truck.  Saturday night some beer and a few games of pool & darts with the neighbors.  Sunday, all day racing remote control with my son.

No Shannon pics for me... I spent the weekend with my lovely wife at the Woodworker's Show. I dropped a ton of cash but came home with some great new toys, tricks, and tips.

Very busy weekend, thursday, friday & saturday morning, I took my basic rider course to get my M1 (forgot to check the box the last two times, so I had to re-take the license test) Nailed it! I could have taught that class! Friday & saturday nights, played two gigs with my band at the Paso Robles Inn, great shows! Sunday I was in the MS fundraiser bike/car show both as an entrant(my bike won first place!) & also my band played that gig also, it was a great day with a good turnout. Now it's back to work, kind of a rest from the weekend!

I had a fun weekend, got to spend each day with one of my favorite people.

Saturday I took my son, Riley, to his remote control truck race. It was a regional points series once a month at a different track over the next 6 months. This one was at our local track, but with all the regional guys coming in, it was a looooong day. We left the house at 5am and got home around 7pm. He finished 2nd in main race!!!

Sunday, Laura and I took a short ride. Rode out to Cook's Corner, out local biker bar, where we ran into another CF member, hootershooter. From there we took a ride through the canyon to check out a chili cook off, kind of a bust. We headed home and just hung out and relaxed.

I had a really great weekend. First I took my daughter to her Dads so they could "visit" and then on Saturday morning I rolled out of bed grabbed a quick bite before we took off to Eagles Nest Harley Davidson to purchase a beautiful new "to us" bike. I actually joined the bagger club. Never thought it would happen, but it did! Woo Hoo for me and HarleyMan!!!
We had a nice little ride and ended up at our Friends Kelly and Bill's house for a couple drinks, dinner and to wait to meet up with HighRisk and Deener. They showed and we had a couple more drinks and some laughs. They took off for a little shut eye before jumping back on the road for home. Great people, enjoyed meeting them so much, and now have one more reason to look forward to RWR!
Then on Sunday we road up to Don Pedro, what a beautiful day.. just about the best you can ask for. Oh yeah, rain tomorrow.,,, arg..
