Don't think I can make this one. but I'm known for last minute change of mind.

I will use the excuse that I'm a woman and have been known to change her mind a time or two. Never know where the wind will blow and some times you gotta go with the flow.

After I contacted the 2 CF Business Member motels in Maggie Valley - below are their replies and  "special rates" for this event...we just need to decide which we will stay at for this trip.

You can also take a look at their sites

Please let me know what you guys think - anyone have any preference or experience at either location?

Once we decide, I will reply to them and update the Event Location then everyone can book rooms.

OK - so in an effort to move things along and make life easier for a few of us with "with early planning" I made the call and decided to do the event at the "A Holiday Motel".

I just booked my room there...

    A Holiday Motel
    Maggie Valley. NC

Contact Robert or Gabbi for reservations, let them know you are with the CycleFish group and you will get the discounted rate.

They will be trying to keep our rooms next to each other for easier party time - lol

I am already looking forward to this!

The Tail of the Dragon is a great ride. I recommend a early morning ride. The traffic is gets really bad doing the afternoon, also the weekends are heavy as well, but check out the Devils Triangle, it will be a ride of your life, just becareful.

the site recomends before 11 or after 5 for the "low traffic time" - the triangle may be a bit much for some, depending on skill level but guess we can see how it goes and what the comfort level is. There is also the Moonshiner off the Dragon.
