  • July 20, 2012 3:21 PM PDT
Hi all, so I am getting married next june, and were doing a biker theme, kind of already have the cake figured out how we want it, however, a little stuck on the center pieces for the tables. If anyone has any ideas on how we can do motorcycle themed table center pieces it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you so much!!!

Okay, now serious... I looked around and found lots of coll cake tops for biker weddings, but nothing for center pieces.

Might want to think about starting with Beer Mugs and going from there...

Lemme think on it, since we have a little time. I'll get back to you. I do know that you could give "ride bells" as table treats. (Or special one's to your attendants.)

Skip the "Theme" - Two weeks later nobody will remember the "Theme"
Spend the money on things that mean something to you

Well we are savage, but we need a "theme" so to speak, and since we live to ride during the season, its a good thing to share with our family and friends. and we have the cake figured out, the bakery is making the cake topper to look like our bike and to look like the both of us.

tweek, ty for your help, not everyone at the wedding rides, so as much as giving bells is a good idea, it really isnt an appropriate thing to do, but tyvm tho!

Find some old chunks of bike engines, we did one with cylinders and gearbox contents across all the tables with simple flowers draped in, on, and around them, sling in a bit of glitter...done!!!

It dont matter that some guests wont be Bikers...if you intend to do a "Biker" theme then I reckon old bits of engines (cleaned up and shiny...lol...) is the way to go dude.....

ps... I like both of Lucky's suggestions...now THAT would be a "Biker Bar" theme...lol...

Get on your bike and get away while you have the chance................seriously, just ask everyone coming to wear jeans and Tee shirts...get a good rock/blues band....couple of bikes sitting about (keyless)...people will theme it for ya.

I looked online and saw a "biker" boot vase. It was really cute and might make for a good centerpiece with some nice flowers in it.
P.S-I think it's a fun idea. Congrats to you and your girl.

Do you want to make stuff or looking for sources with ideas? There's some pretty cool Harley stuff at bikerathome.com some of which might work.

How about some old helmets, drill holes in them and put flowers in.

As far as theme vs. traditional, when my wife and I got remarried we went all out with a medevil theme wedding, swords, suits of armor, costumes and had all guests come dressed in costume as well. Way better, way more fun and definately more memorable then our original traditional church wedding.

    Just my 2 cents.

First off ~ Congrats on gettin hitched. I have some friend in Vegas that The bride got white "wedding leathers"

Ya sure don't want to get a traditional dress tangled up. LOL DUH

Talk to some of your favorite local bike shops & see if they can sport some fancies to decorate(not to mention it gives them a bit of advertisement) not to exploit your special moment.

Best to ya both!! Post up the pics

Check Motorcyclesuperstore.com there is a company that produces scale models of most any bike you want. That may not be the entire centerpiece, but it'll make a nice touch.

I'm confused. I thought a "biker wedding" meant the wedding had the "biker theme". Let some biker marry ya'll (pretend like) with vows like: "Do you promise to take this nasty lookin' biker as someone you can constantly nag at about the grease on his boots, motorcycle parts all over the house, empty beer cans thrown every where, and dirty fingernails? Do you promise not to throw his tools down in the cellar and then lock him up when he goes to get them? Do you promise to .........". Well ya know what I mean. Then have a real preacher marry ya immediately following the antics. I doned a top hat and married a couple low brows at one of our club parties. It was a blast and pretty darn funny if I do say so myself. As a center piece ya could always go with porn chocolate bits. Sorry.
    Peace

How about cute little drip pans.....you can put rice in the drip pans where the Metric folks will sit and oil in the drip pans where the Harley people sit, oh yea and throw in some greasy tools in the drip pans on the Harley Tables!
