Or tell them to type in "Colossus Jet Trike" to watch the promo's then I may be in USA to live and work sooner rather than later.

Yes...Its a dead rat on the fender...lol... and if you look again you will see that there is one hanging out of the mouth too!!! I stuck lumps of rotting meat under the saddle, around the engine, inside the head, in fact...lol...all over the upper part of the bike...lol...EVERY FLY in the area was hanging around that bike...lol...I named it the "JUST ROT'N" ...thats all I could fit on the number plate...lol...

Well, Another year has gone by... I am still pink and making use of air... I won last years "Rat-Bike-Build-Off" with a half animal/half bike creation...It serves me well, I am still riding it from time to time now, it upsets the local constabulary beautifully as of course, its street legal... This years build has been very slow in progress but I still have 6 weeks to complete it, some parts cannot be added until the very last moment for best effect... To qualify in this particular show the build has to be done for less than £100 (currently that would be approx $162) and be registered and street legal ... If the build comes to more than £100, supposing its say £180 then the bike has got to be capable of doing that in MPH...lol... The target price for the completed bike is £100 So everyone keeps the cost below £100 (last years total cost was £92 including the buying of a bike to start the build with) Last years find was a seized engined, busted up CBR600f, it had been laying on its side for 6 years with weeds even growing out from the carbs...lol... took just under 24 hours to get the engine working right, then another day to get the carbs cleaned and running as they should, I used a hammer to take off all the plastic panels...lol...I cut and rewelded the frame at an angle to accomodate the saddle I used for it...... All being well this years build will be completed on schedule and under cost, I wont reveal what it is being made from or how it is being converted and set up until after the show..... Peace.....Jetman.....

Sorry not to have picked up on this sooner honey but all I ever do when I see a configuration that don't match is to rip out clean and stick an old school muscle in it...lol...I never play by the rules... ...and before anyone mentions that its front wheel drive America has some excellent "old school" transverse engines that would drop into anything new-ishish...Corvair springs immediately to mind, a strong engine with an equally strong transaxle.....

in the topic Need advice on traveling with Cat's in the Truck in the forum Off Topic
I am an experienced animal trainer and handler with over 30 years experience....yeah sure, I may be a Limey but..... 1.   Keep The Cat In The Carrier During ALL Travel Time... 2.   When you stop for a break on the road, check your cat and if neccesary let it into the vehicle to do its "rest stop" if it needs one...make sure windows and doors are SHUT, your cat is in a strange place and may panic...  3.   YOU need to be watching the road - NOT what the cat is doing, shut in its carrier it is safe, YOUR Driving will be safe... 4.   If the cat is not used to being in a vehicle offer only tiny amounts during the trip, make water available ONLY at rest stops... 5.   Turn the carrier so that the opening end is facing the seat or a bulkhead or other surface where going under bridges etc will not startle the cat as it wont see them coming... 6.   If the carrier is located on a seat use the seatbelt to secure the carrier in place just as securely as you would a child... 7.   If the cat appears to be panicking dont check on it straight away, if ignored it will settle very quickly, if it does persist over say 50 miles then stop and check on it, but do NOT open the carrier, if the cat is stressed it will not think twice about attacking you and out the door and gone in just a few seconds...Keep The Carrier Closed unless all doors are closed and windows too, a medium size cat can get through a window gap of around 3 to 4 inches-dont take a chance with it... It comes out just to take on water and if it does not use the "rest stop"/litter tray within a minute or so then it does not actually need it yet...it will hold its water for anything up to 12 hours if it is scared...At ALL times keep it in the carrier...a stressed cat is best contained for ITS safety and for YOUR safety... I have travelled cats all over the world without ANY kind of incident during travel, Cats can safely go without food for well over 24 hours without any detrimental effects on the cat...Water is only offered during rest stops and taken away during ALL driving times, DO NOT leave water with the cat - this is because of spillage, NO cat wants to be doing any journey lying on a wet bed... I hope this helps in you making the right choices on your journey...Have a Safe Trip.....

in the topic Lane Splitting? Whats Your View... in the forum Off Topic
United Kingdom : Ride defensively all the time, but, when you can filter ride aggressively through, they dont like you passing slowly if they made room for you, be direct and positive...When riding and splitting lanes dont watch the cars ahead of you, look at their mirrors to see if they notice you there, if they notice you and make room-go through, If you get no signs that they have seen you rev the engine, make noise (its good to have loud pipes...lol...) Filter through with MAIN BEAM ON then you have made sure they have seen you and proceed to see what way they react... ( I personally look to make sure they have seen me before I go through at any kind of speed, that way you can see if they are making room or blocking room, if they block the room I angle myself right to take off their mirrors, dumb sh*ts deserve it!!!) Germany : Ride defensively all the time, When riding in Germany (anywhere in Germany), They will see you and they will give you room, as a general rule they notice you and make room for you, there is obviously the exceptions, the dumb*sses that just aint thinking etc...ALWAYS Thank them with either a wave or a foot off the peg wiggled, they appreciate it... France : Ride defensively all the time, I personally hate the place and I hate the total arrogance of the French people toward the English and English speaking, BUT, having said that, when riding through if they have seen you they will make room for you to pass on either side...Always Thank them with either a wave or foot off peg wiggled, but you can see their reaction when they realise they let an English bike through...lol... Brittany :  Ride defensively all the time, Sometimes regarded as a province within France-but dont tell them that!!!  If you are riding in Brittany you will find helpful Bikers everywhere who will join in with you, take you to their clubhouse's to feed you, to give you a bed, to treat you like a Brother, show you shortcuts-in fact, I would say that Brittany is the friendliest and most Biker observant Country in the World...the people there all speak English as their second language and are always apologetic that they think they are getting it wrong, they love the English and all who speak it, when I have been riding there ordinary Bikers as well as Club Bikers will always come up and say hi, it has never been any different than that, people off the street are genuinely interested and will have no hesitation in coming over for a chat, riding in Brittany is a real pleasure, oh sure, you still have the idiots and drivers without concentration, but the people there more than make up for the shortfall of the idiots... Spain : Ride defensively all the time, I find it easy riding there, as long as it is not rush hour or siesta time they will see you and make room..... Portugal : Ride defensively all the time, I like riding in Portugal, as with France, the majority will see you and make room, but again, if its siesta time or rush hour pick your moments carefully before going through..... Holland : Ride defensively all the time, Same as Germany above..... Belgium : Ride defensively all the time, Same as Germany above-apart from regions close to France,..... Italy : Ride defensively all the time, BUT, You really dont want to ride or drive ANYTHING in any Italian city or main area unless you have a suicidal tendency or have NO FEAR of maniacal drivers who see a space somewhere in front and they all aim at it at the same time, you will be deaf with the sounding of horns even on a road that seems quite empty..... I Enjoy Driving in Italy...lol...but then, I am as crazy as they are!!! (and that space I can see in front of me - ITS MINE!!!), ALWAYS remember to use plenty of hand gestures and make full use of middle finger etc, stand your ground...   Most European Countries : Ride defensively all the time, When riding in MOST European Countries you will need to observe a combination of info from Germany and France, generally in most Countries they are very tolerant of Motorcycles, but having said that, the further East you go in Europe the worse the driving becomes and life becomes a lottery even if you are driving a Tank!!! ASIA, MIDDLE EAST, CHINA etc : Unless you are prepared to totally ignore every traffic signal, every traffic light, every priority right of way DONT DRIVE or RIDE THERE until you have been there observing how to commit vehicular suicide for at least a week before attempting it yourself, lol, go take a ride in ANY Taxi there and you will see what I mean...lol...  USA : It would take a whole generation for the whole of USA to become tolerant of Motorcycles filtering through traffic after it became legal to filter through/split lanes, I have witnesssed first hand on my first ever riding trip in USA the attitude of drivers in CT who blasted their horn and tried their hardest to cut me off, I didn't know you couldn't filter through traffic there...it was one of the cops I was riding with came up and told me about it...lol...good job he was in uniform or I might have ended up in a ditch or worse...lol...Apart from truckers, and drivers who have had bikes or know someone on bikes the general attitude toward Bikers and Bikes in USA sucks, if you are riding what they consider close they stab at the brakes, if you are close to either side of the lane you are in they swerve to make you move over, but having said that-that was only on the East Coast side (within 200 miles of coast)... I found Chicago and Milwaukee fine to ride in, but then, it was at Harley's 105th Anniversary week, so I guess everyone was aware that bikes would be everywhere... Having said all that about USA, If you can ride in ANY of the major Cities there you can ride ANYWHERE in Europe, in fact, if you ride in Europe they will think you are being grossly over-cautious..... Everywhere I go in the World : I go at road speeds of the 3rd fastest to pass me, I drive whatever I consider normal until I have at least 3 speeders pass me, that way the cops get them instead of me, that way I am not slowing anyone down and not likely to be in the "pulled for speeding" bracket, but I make good headway on whatever journey I am on by doing that...the only place I have EVER got a speeding ticket was in USA..... 2 in Pennsylvania, 1 in Massachusetts...Nowhere else in the World..... I hope this info helps at least one of you if you ever come across the pond to do some serious riding, just watch their mirrors, you can see if they seen you or not, if they aint seen you be careful, if they have seen you and they show signs of making room you can reckon its safe to go through..... I know a lot of you are going to react badly to what I said about USA attitude toward Bikers (I am stuck in traffic and now you are too hahaha), but in the 14 years of regularly coming over and riding there I have found it to be the most unpredictable Country in the Western World regarding Bikers...I enjoy riding in USA (anywhere), but this is the observations I have made over all the years of coming over there.....

Here in England and in fact in 90% of the World we are allowed to ride between the lanes of cars who are obviously stuck in traffic... Apparently, its legal in just ONE STATE out of 50 in USA, maybe this video could be shared with local authorities in your State... Watch, and all will become clear...

I strongly believe in self defense, but if you have the opportunity to flee by all means run (live to fight another day). However, remember one thing you can run from a knife, but you can't run from a gun. Hell the cows themselves stink when their wet even when their still wearin the hide and they ain't been treated with nothin. Best way to keep leather from stinkin when they get wet is to treat them with a water proof coating. I prefer a natural treatment like mink oil. Everyone down here from cowboys to bikers treats all leather with mink oil. I also use mink oil buddy.....and have done so for more than the last 12 years... the leather that generally comes in from Pakistan is sheep and goat leather, it is treated with fermented human urine in large concrete troughs, it is kept in sealed plastic containers until the ammonia builds in it...it has no heated treatment that ALL American leathers get treated with... I have Never had any of my American made leathers smell for any reason in any weather conditions...this is surely a plus for American leathers when a Limey comes from England to USA to buy leathers as they are better quality than UK treated leathers... Hudson Leathers (an American Company), have always had quality Buffalo leathers, sure, it's more expensive than the foreign stuff but I think the difference in quality is worth the extra... I buy ALL my clothing in USA... I do not buy Harley branded clothing, it's not American made... I do not buy Levi' s, ... again, not American made... I buy from companies that advertise American made products... I ride a Harley, I drive a Ford F150 Lightning SVT bodied pick- up truck... I like the majority of the older (1940' s to 1960' s) American cars and trucks and have had many many over all my years... the majority of my newer tools in all my tool kits and boxes were bought at Sears... ...and just to say...American made products work for me...American leathers is what I buy and don't smell of anything bad when wet...

If your "Vest Extenders" (we call them fat bstd straps over here in England), if they come open too easy just lay it down on a flat surface and take your blade and give it a small dent across the ridge in 1, 2, or 3 places, this makes it tight again, VERY hard to click into place the first time you put them back on but I still have some from over 20 years ago and are still in constant use.....if you need to know more just ask and I will put a picture of what I mean in... Works just as well on the vest side - but be warned - if you mess up on the vest its more expensive than just doing cheap vest extenders!!!

The Afghan Quarterback The coach had put together the perfect team for the Chicago Bears. The only thing that was missing was a good quarterback. He had scouted all the colleges and even the Canadian and European Leagues, but he couldn't find a ringer who could ensure a Super Bowl win. Then one night while watching CNN he saw a war-zone scene in Afghanistan . In one corner of the background, he spotted a young Afghan Muslim soldier with a truly incredible arm. He threw a hand-grenade straight into a 15th story window 100 yards away. KABOOM! He threw another hand-grenade 75 yards away, right into a chimney. KA-BLOOEY! Then he threw another at a passing car going 90 mph. BULLS-EYE! "I've got to get this guy!" Coach said to himself. "He has the perfect arm!" So, he brings him to the States and teaches him the great game of football. And the Bears go on to win the Super Bowl. The young Afghan is hailed as the great hero of football, and when the coach asks him what he wants, all the young man wants is to call his mother. "Mom," he says into the phone, "I just won the Super Bowl!" "I don't want to talk to you, the old Muslim woman says."You are not my son!" "I don't think you understand, Mother," the young man pleads. "I've won the greatest sporting event in the world. I'm here among thousands of my adoring fans." "No! Let me tell you!" his mother retorts. "At this very moment, there are gunshots all around us. The neighborhood is a pile of rubble. Your two brothers were beaten within an inch of their lives last week, and I have to keep your sister in the house so she doesn't get raped!" The old lady pauses, and then tearfully says, "I will never forgive you for making us move to Chicago !!!!
