Once again Mother Nature has given me a visual treat. So let me share it. Being very sleepy, around midnight, I was getting into bed when I saw light flashes outside. Looking out the window I could see a great show developing. It is amazing how a little electricity in the air can wake one up. I had to post this right away. I put the trusty D700 on the tripod and sallied forth into the dark. She teased me with several near catches but then rewarded me with four very good images. Then the heavy rain came and inside I went. WHAT a SHOW! AWESOME... Twice in less than two weeks. YES!

Getting a little artsy here. This photo almost never happened. It was an ugly hazy day and I almost didn't take my cameras with me. The weather developed several tstorms and while I was waiting for them to move out of my path I saw this fantastic scene develop.
