I like to wear a fullface on long rides, and whenever I want a more comfortable ride in the cold, rain, and bugs. A fullface reduces the wind noise too.  I never felt like my vision was impaired by wearing a fullface.
I was involved in an accident, where I slid facedown on the pavement.  My chin bar got scuffed-up. I was really glad I wore my fullface that day, instead of my shorty.   less

Learn countersteering and practice it. Try to keep your eyes level when cornering, so you don't get that, 'I'm falling' sensation. Look where you want to go and the bike will follow.

To help everyone see whats going on include the previous word in you response.

    First word...

    cone

New rules as of Jan 14, 2010, to help keep the game going.  You just need to use 3 of the 4 letters from the previous word. The new word can have the letters in any order, but must have 4 letters.

So with the new rules cone could become note  less

in the topic How do you pick up a dropped bike? in the forum Biker Chat
Whenever I lay my bike down alone, I do use the proper technique, by lifting the bike with my legs, with no problems. If I lay my bike down in front of a guy (or guys), he (or they) always come to my rescue by lifting the bike by the handlebars and using lots of muscle.  I have never seen a guy lift a bike by using their legs.

in the topic Do You Have a Riding Name & How Did You Get It? in the forum Biker Chat
That's a great story Edge! Thanks for sharing! I don't really have a ride name, but there are some, who only know me as Ditch Rider.               I was on a poker run, where we rode to each stop as a group. Heading toward the last stop, I was riding near the front cause I like to ride with the faster, more experienced riders. The guy in front of me was riding on the very edge of shoulder of the road and I was following his track. For a moment, I wasn't paying attention, ran off the road on a left hand curve, through a ditch and a field, and then back onto the road into the same position that I left in.                      When I pulled into the last stop and parked, a few guys approached me and said, "Get off the bike! Get off the bike now!" I shook my head no at them. I was embarrassed to death, I ran off the road in front of a bunch of bikers and was afraid they were going to yell at me about being a female who can't ride.  I pulled off my gloves and then my full face helmet, and was confessed when everyone wanted to shake my hand. "You're a helluva rider!" They were impressed that I maintained control of my bike the whole time.

Staggered. It especially irritates me when a noobie wants to ride side by side. I don.t trust them to hold their own lane.

in the topic Ladies Who Do You Ride With ? in the forum Lady Bikers
I usually ride alone. Occasionally, I will ride with a Riding Club, or a friend. I prefer riding alone so I can run on my own schedule, but I have to admit that I do eat better when riding with a group. Riding alone, I either skip meals, or look for familiar fast food joints.
