Rebuild

well see i didn't fall off the planet...I've been rebuilding a bike literally from the ground up. I bought a Kawasaki z1000 mk 2 in 5,000 pieces for $500, and this is taking all my time. I drove 1200 km to pick it up...and by the time i got home I'd gone over 2800 km...the bike was pulled down as it was the Brisbane floods a few years back and was completely underwater for 3 days...hence the slow rebuild...mud and crap has to be thoroughly cleaned away and alot of it polished up before putting it back together...a slow and money hungry project..that I happen to love...as much as I do riding..I've also been polishing other metal parts as a bit of a sideline...and that keeps me off the pc...don't ask for pics cause i don't have any lol...the pic is what the bike might look like when i get her done.

    Jsy.

Cool. That is what I would consider one of the very first super bikes.
