Of all the shit I have provided armed protection for in my life, my family is the most precious I have ever escorted. That's why I carry just to go out back to the garage and work on the bike. Never know who will walk up that alley and see the light on.

THANKS BABE.....No Worries When You Are Here....That's One Of The Reasons I Love Ya So Much!!!

A Springfield XD 9mm. We got the Subcompact, but I don't like using the grip extensions on the full size magazines, they just dont feel right when reloading and the sub magazines just make me feel like I don't have enough ammo if I needed it. So the sub will be the new backup.

yea dragon and sarge, that Kimber is a fine piece. I guess its like buyin a high priced call girl or a cheap Thai hooker; one cost more than the other but ya still get to shoot....So I heard...... Not that I would know of course

I have not owned a Kimber, but have shot one....very nice weapon, just can't justify the cost that's all.
Actually I owned one of the model 85 Tarurs 38 special wheel guns.......nice back up piece, and priced right.

I think Kimber's are like putting a bow on your pecker.......it will still do the job, except it just look's nicer with a bow on it.

Any prior service military can somewhat easily get a State of Florida carry permit through the mail. This will allow you to carry in about 29 states total. It is about as close to national carry as you can get right now.

The 32 Tomcat is my usual carry. Light, small with some deterant power.

The middle one is a  357 SP 101. five shot. Not too good as a pocket piece but deinitely a stopper. I carry it a lot in the woods hiking  or in the city if I am out doing photography. Easy to keep in the camera bag.

The highway patrolman is also a 357 that I keep in my desk at home.

I went to a farm auction yesterday where they were selling several firearms. While there were some very nice and interesting guns there, they also went for a very high price. Now I realize guns are not neccesarily cheap only two of the guns went for what I would consider a fair price. One was a ten gauge double barrel shotgun. The colt AR-15 sold for almost two thousand which I thiught was a liitle on the high side. But it was still neat to check out and reminds you not to underestimate an old farmer
