Dude if you can't vent here, then where? I think this group of people here are great to bounce ideas off of or just to lend an ear and listen. I wish to God that you lived in Nashville, because our company could use somebody like you. Good luck and we hope to meet you at an upcoming meet and greet.

We were at a rally in East Tennessee one late night. In the middle of a grassy field after the dew had settled, we stupidly decided that we needed to move the bikes to a different area. I'm riding ever so slowly being extra careful, when I notice another bike getting a little too close for comfort. I just barely touch the rear brake (BIG MISTAKE), on that wet grass I spun around so quick my head was spinning. Before I could even realize what had happened, there were at least 5 guys around me to help pick up the bike. Later one of my buddies said that he thought I was trying to show off and do a donut!

RandyJoe I hope you could make it out here. Don't worry about the softdrink thing, we will make sure you have fun. I finally learned to tone my alcohol intake down some, because like you I used to drink too much and always found myself waking up in jail! lol

I started 33 years ago when I was 13 on a Suzuki A - 100 (The Gopher). Top speed was about 50 mph (downhill), but when I would go up a large hill the speed would drop to about 25. We would ride from dawn to dusk. God I loved that bike!

Stephanie count me and my Steph in. We will help you in anyway needed. Dragon, if we are talking the end of June, the weather in the day is usually pretty hot (low 90's) with nice nights. Last year at the June Bug Boogie, I almost got heat stroke (of course alcohol may have had something to do with that). Of course the mountain temps are always cooler, but daytime temps are just shirt sleeve. Leave the leather coat at home, unless you prefer it for riding protection. I'm excited already! Can't wait to meet everybody.

Hog Rock is a huge party. It would also be about 300 or more miles closer for our friends that would be coming from out west.

Cherokee Survivors Rally, Cherokee, NC April 22 - 25, 2010 Rumble In The Hills, Pigeon Forge, TN April 29 - May 2 Hogfest of Tennessee and Thunder On The Rock, both are the same weekend near Monteagle, TN, May 27 - 30 Rally At The Strip, Newport, TN June 3 - 6 June Bug Boogie, Cookeville, TN June 17 - 20 Most of these have their own websites that you can google. Thunder on the Rock and June Bug Boogie are further away from the Tail of the Dragon (maybe 75 - 100 miles). However, June Bug is by far one of the best partys around. We have been to the Cherokee Rally before and it is a lot of fun. Cherokee is just on the other side of the Smoky Mtn Natl Park and all of the roads I listed earlier are pretty close. Rumble in the Hills is new this year but it is close to a lot of activities. Let me know what you all think.

There are also a lot of kick ass rallys in the area, we could time the meet with a rally and use that as a "homebase" so to speak and still be able to enjoy riding the twisties during the day.

Eastern KY and eastern TN offer up the best twisty roads. There are several motorcycle campgrounds (with cabins) in the area where we could maybe meet up and the list great roads to ride is long. Tail of the Dragon, Hellbender, Cherahola Skyway, Blue Ridge Parkway and Devil's Triangle are the most notable. My wife Steph and I live and work in Nashville, TN but are from KY and would be happy to be the "boots on the ground" to help NightDragon put this together if there is interest.
