I did look at all of these. The fender bra does not fit the FLRT, totally different shape of fender. And the paint guard kit is great for just about every part BUT the front of the rear fenders! LOL!!! It's kinda funny that they missed this very important part! I am getting it though for what it can offer.
I certainly hope that the surgeries are done! 4 in 13 months and no working for a year and a half is too much!  less

It has a separate garage for the vehicles, so it does not interfere with the living space when the bikes are in. We have squeezed 3 bikes in there, and once a trike and one bike. The model we bought is the absolute shortest in hieght and length of 5th wheel toy haulers with a seperate garage. For that we gave up a lot of exterior storage space. But we camp off road a lot; so this was necessary. But for someone that is gonna stick to organized campgrounds, the height won't matter so much. Our "garage" has two queen size beds that lower from the ceiling like bunks and the couch makes out to a full size bed; so there is room for guests. We don't spend a lot of time on the inside of our camper though, except food prep and sleeping. Same as home! You will enjoy it, look at a lot of them before making a commitment, walk...    less

I was having lunch with some friends today and the subject of Sturgis came up.  Seems next to riding Route 66 going to Sturgis is the second most popular destination for Harley riders from my corner of Europe.  Anyway, one of the guys wants to go to Sturgis and he was wondering what a ballpark cost would be for a week.
This would include flying into a city 100-200 miles from Sturgis, renting a Harley (Dyna, Softail or Cruiser) to ride for 8-9 days, gas for riding around, camping, medical insurance for foreigners, food and all basic necessities to live in the campgrounds.  Not included wuld be alcohol, souvenirs and heavy partying.
I ballparked a number of €5000.  Which would be about $5500US at the exchange rate of the past few months of $1.10+/- to the Euro.  That figures around $2000 for r/t airfare/BS fees and $200/day for a Harley w/insurance included.  They eat up $3800 leaving $1700 for a camping supplies, gas,...    less

Lucky said: The mud flap on the front fender that Mike recommended shounds like a good idea.  Unless you are following close to other vehicles the kicked-up debris is probably from your front wheel (just guessing)   The other option is have Clay ride on the back wearing really baggy chaps - that should shield the rear fenders :-)   Haha! We are currently looking at mud flaps. Clay would defo ride on back, but he was not too keen on the really baggy chaps!

Take Care and Ride Safe I looked at these too, however! They do not fit the Freewheeler....:( Totally different type of fender. Hopefully in the near future they release one!

So those of you that know me, know that I have had a lot of issues with my right arm. 8 surgeries down the road and I am missing a lot of bone, muscle, ligament and tissue. This has made riding the old Fatboy a bit difficult at times. So, for my birthday this year, Clay bought me a HD Freewheeler. First ride down and the front of my rear fenders have a lot of rock chips! AAAARRRGGHHH! Does anyone have a viable solution to this issue? I really don't want to Rhino line the front part of my fenders....
