How come when I try to compose a message to a specific member, the page on my computer screen gets a dark shadow over it, and nothing else happens???

Send that message to Lucky, the site owner. If you can't find him, go to my friends list and find him there.
Shouldn't be doin' that, don't know why. Lucky'll straighten u out, tho.

Haven't seen that one before.

It could be your security settings if you are blocking Active X controls or pop ups.
