I cant believe his daughter did that. I'm actually more surprised that he showed the self control not to return it to her after putting the laptop through a wood chipper afterward... Could just hear the level of pissed in his voice as he tried to read her post...

15 year old..... Already killed her laptop... by accident though.... And yes, I have been toe-to-toe with her "Satan" side, My only trouble is she's willing to get way meaner with me than I can with her.... So I know exactly what you're talking about...

they'er revenge for what you put your parents thru!!!

I understand this guys frustration, however He really isn't accomplishing anything by shooting up his kids laptop - other than satisfying his own anger/dissapointment. Moreover he just guranteed his loss of $130 for the software and perhaps a decent laptop by 'wasting' his kids computer. IMO, he should kick the kid out of the house and allow her the 'freedom' she thinks she can handle - Let her see what the real world is about - I'd give her a week and then see her come crying back to him w/ a different attitude.

To be honest, I just don't get it. He's seems to be angry that his daughter publicly voiced her anger towards her parents. So, he publicly displayed his anger towards her. I may be crazy, but playing tit for tat with a teenager seems more than a little hypocritical.

My son sent this to me this morning.  I say she got what was coming to her.  She came down with the "princess" syndrome and Dad is correcting her.  This was not the first time she was busted down for this behavior.  If you have missed the update on this story go read it.  It's pretty cool and I have even more respect for Dad.

I asked my daughter this evening what she thought of this.  She watched the video and the update.  She said, "I couldn't imagine behaving like this.  She got what she deserved and she's a brat.  I don't want to ask Dad to help me pay for my school books."  My daughter is now 21, and neither of my kids ever had the feeling they they were entitled.

    Read his update here

I don't have any issue with him disciplining his daughter or shooting her computer, but why is this public? Since when does disciplining your children become a public event? IMO, this is reality T.V bullsh@t. I'm not sure why this is any of my business.

For both the father and the daughter .. too bad it came down to this.
Hopefully, she learns her lesson this time.

Do I think he should've done that? My head says no, but my heart says Hell YEAH! She totally disrespected all of the adults in her life...publicly! I'm sooooo happy I wasn't blessed with a daughter. Now, hear me out on this...I'm the kind of person who "feels" my emotions, K? When someone says somethin' hurtful, it gets me, right there. And then, much like in the grieving process...I get ANGRY. I can only imagine what life would've been like with another woman in the house, let alone, one who would turn on me, after all the love and nurturing I'd shown to her.
I have a son, and well, you kind of expect there to be some tough times, and shouting matches, and generally for them to pull some dumb stuff. And you won't be disappointed. But it ain't nothin' you can't handle.
But, from everyone I know, with a teenage daughter? I'm hearin' things, that would make shootin' a laptop,
child's play. One friend, found messages to his 15 year old, from a 45 year old man (posing as a teenager), and
the talk was bordering on pornographic. A friend with "IT" skills, got that and a whole lot more off of her laptop.

PARENTS!!! You need to check, and I mean REALLY check, on what your kids are doing on the internet.

Like I said...it wouldn't have been pretty, if that shite woulda went down at my house. It's very bloody likely
that the little ingrate, would've found herself on bus to bootcamp for unruly kids, here in Florida!!! Course, that
would've been right after, I took out the whole pile of her electronics in a blaze of glory!

Jeez, I don't make enough money to destroy a functioning and fairly expensive piece of electronics. Just taking the damn thing away from her wasn't an option?!
