I was born to ride for the King. Our group, Light Up the Hills Regional Motorcycle Retreats, organizes and produces Christian motorcycle rallies and regional retreats that seek to attract Christian motorcycle enthusiasts whether they be single riders, Christian motorcycle club/motorcycle ministry members or motorcycle church members, and we encourage attendees to bring someone who may not know the Lord. All motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome. The purpose of the event is provide fellowship opportunities and to uplift, encourage and inspire Christian riders to be intentional in using their motorcycles for evangelism and discipleship.
We are currently working on increasing awareness and attendance of our Texas regional event, which takes place in Kerrville, TX on the second Saturday in September every year and is free of charge. Our second annual rally is scheduled for September 11&12, 2020 and will be held in the River Star Arts and Events Park at the Hill Country Youth Event Center in Kerrville, TX. The event features guided rides on both Friday and Saturday, with Friday’s ride being a tour of the well-known 3 Twisted Sisters and Saturday’s ride being a Jericho Ride, with several stops in various cities/municipalities for group prayer for that community. These rides are offered for any riders that wish to participate and will depart at 9:00 am from the Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden in Kerrville and return to the same location between 4-5:00 pm. The evening events will start with a Meet and Greet social hour from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at the River Star park, followed by a spiritually uplifting worship service that will feature local praise worship musical talent, as well as local, thought-provoking and uplifting speakers and typically one well-known keynote speaker. Both evening events will end with an alter call. We look forward to welcoming you to this event!
