I am not talking about cash or your drivers license.  But the one thing you need to take with you when you saddle up.

Is it the rabbits foot you won at the 4th grade carnival, a lucky penny or your travel bear that is strapped to the bars of your bike...?

I will do a list from those submitted by the guppies and one for the sharks.  I am interested to see what you all come up with for me.  less

Back in 1991 the 'Original' members of Rolling Thunder, PA help greatly with rebuilding the Phoenixville, PA Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I am very proud to say I served as a 'Casket Bearer' for the 'Last Ride' which brought tracings of the names from The Wall and entombed them into the Memorial Wall in Phoenixville.

Every Thanksgiving morning since then we have held a small and emotional rememberance ceremony. This year will be no different. I will be riding there again with many of my friends.

Take a moment and remember those that paid the ultimate price for our freedom and never returned.

The survivng bikers told the police it was a deliberate act.

Derick was at my sons and daughters weddings and has been to our house on many occasions, he has always been polite and curtious and friendly.

At my daughters reception during my speech I started to tear up and as i did a big YEAH!!.  was heard, it was Derick in support of my showing my emotions and love and pride for losing my little girl to justin..

I have added a photo of derick and my son Danny. Derick is on the right.

I dont know all of the information and facts but  will know more tomorrow.

Brotherhood challenge coin from B.G.B.B. Can get real expensive if you run into some and don't have it to lay down when the tab comes due.

This is a true story....I'm not starting it out with "Well there we were".  About 2 years ago while at work I was having a hectic day ( I work in retail for a large home improvement company) and this nice looking elderly lady came to my desk and asked for my advice. She told me she had a couple of white wooden posts at the edge of her property and that they needed painting again. She had a quart of flat white exterior paint in her cart and wanted to know if that would work on her posts. I looked at the paint and told her I was sure it would work just fine. She then says "BUT MY POSTS ARE ROUND AND THIS SAYS FLAT WHITE" and she again asks If I'm sure it will work. Being just one of those days, I couldn't help but tell her "It will work fine...it's in a round can." She was being serious!! She thanked me and off she headed toward the cash register.

If you are in KY, take HYW 52 east from Richmond over to Irvine, then 89 to McKee, turn left at the stop light, then rt at the next light on 290. Follow 290 over to HYW 30 and follow it to HYW 80 toward London. Stop at Wildcat HD for some free coffee and rockin chair time out front. Take HYW 80 to US 25 and take it back north to Richmond. A little over 100 miles....lots of twisties and beautiful country.

That's about right....avg around 55 -58 MPH with some super slab miles thrown into the trip, stops etc. When I'm heading somewhere in particular and need to be there by a certain date/time I plan for 400 miles/day but will push it to 500 if I'm not too tired and weather is good etc.... 9 to 10 hours is enough to do me in a day.

Well....it's fixed....finally. Had to take it to a dealership to have it done. They Finally had to replace both the throttle body unit and the twist grip actuator. Replacing them singly did not fix it. Total bill...OUCH!! $811.40!!!!

I think you are spot on there.......my buddy at the local dealership said they have had problems with the plug ends....tech bulletin has been issued requiring a replacement of the plug ends with new "silver" ends and application of a dielectric grease. Maybe this will get it solved....will know this evening.

A little over a year ago, my 09' electra glide classic started shutting down to limp mode. Wasn't hot, just would not have any throttle response. Codes indicated it was a sensor problem. The twist grip throttle actuator unit was replaced and everything appeared to be good again. Now, some 8K miles later, the same problem again and it looks like another new unit will have to be installed. Anyone else having similar issues?? Mike
