Rode my Sportster from Detroit to Dallas in two days. One day I rode my Ultra Limited 950 miles, one day I rode 815 miles. Not quite an iron butt, but not bad for traveling alone.
One day it rained from Memphis to Oklahoma City. Rode through Canada from Detroit to New York. Followed much of old Route 66 from Tempe to Chicago. Ride from Detroit to Minneapolis several times per year, and through Chicago several times per year. I ride to work everyday in the Detroit metro area when the temperature is above freezing.
I’ve paddled an ocean-going kayak in three of the five Great Lakes, pedaled a bicycle 100 miles in one day multiple times, learned to fly a small aircraft, and drove a big truck over the road for a time.
