    ### What to Bring & What to Know:

    Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. Please come prepared and keep the following in mind:

    * **Mandatory Gear:**
    * **DOT-approved Helmet:** No helmet, no ride. This is non-negotiable.
    * **Goggles/Eye Protection:** Protect your vision from dust, dirt, and debris.
    * **Gloves:** Essential for grip and hand protection.
    * **Long-Sleeved Shirt & Long Pants:** Durable material is best.
    * **Over-the-Ankle Boots:** Motorcycle-specific boots are highly recommended for ankle support.

    * **Hydration Pack/Water:** Stay hydrated! Even in the evening, it's crucial.
    * **Highly Recommended Gear:**
    * Knee pads, elbow pads, and chest protector.
    * Spare tube, tire repair kit, and basic tools.
    * Small first-aid kit.
    * **Motorcycle Readiness:**
    * Ensure your motorcycle is in good working order (brakes, tires, chain, fluids).
    * Have a full tank of gas! There are no fuel stops on the trail.
    * **Ride Within Your Limits:**
    * Maple Springs offers varied terrain. Please **only ride within your own skill set and comfort level.** There's no pressure to keep up with faster riders. This is about having fun and improving your skills safely.
    * If you're unsure about an obstacle, scout it, or walk your bike through. No shame in playing it safe!

    * **Trail Etiquette & Safety:**
    * Ride predictably.
    * Maintain a safe following distance from other riders.
    * Be aware of potential hazards like loose gravel, ruts, and other trail users (hikers, mountain bikers, other vehicles).
    * We'll do a quick safety briefing before we head out.
