Event Type Motorcycle Rally
Event Description The Southeast Ohio Beemers invites you to a unique motorcycle event which takes place in a part of Ohio that was the center of ancient cultures who have left their mark on the terrain a thousand years after their cultures disappeared.

This year, the rally features several guided rides on Saturday which will take groups to see a wider range of historic sites in the region. One will lead a group to the impressive Newark earthworks and more. The two new rides introduced last year will be continued: one is to the three crash sites of the Navy dirigible USS Shenandoah which went down in violent thunderstorm in 1925; the other is a ride to several large, stone, iron smelting furnaces which are located here in what is known as the Hanging Rock Iron Region, an area that produced most of the pig iron used in the U.S. before, during, and after the Civil War. In addition we have mapped out and described a number of self-guided rides so everyone can enjoy the best riding roads in this part of the country.
