  • 2017 DESERT WIND HARLEY-DAVIDSON’S SKILLS COMPETITION

    100% of the proceeds will go to the Shriner Children’s Hospitals (501c3 Charity Organization)

    The 2017 Desert Wind Harley-Davidson’s Skills Competition for Children will take place on October 27th and 28th at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson, 922 S. Country Club Dr. Mesa, Az. This event is will bring some of the top Police Motorcycle Officers and Skilled Civilian Motorcycle Riders from around Arizona and the country to train and compete on the same courses. The event will consist of confined space motorcycle manipulation through a Competition Course, Eliminator Box, Paired Rider / Tethered Course, and a Slow Cone Course. Awards will be presented to the top 3 riders in each category for each event. There is a limit of 100 competitors for the event with the hopes of a 50/50 Police to Civilian ratio. A family friendly event that is free for spectators.

    The Event Goals Are To
    Promote Police and Community Interaction
    Promote the Benefits of Proper Motorcycle Training
    Promote Motorcycle Safety and Awareness
    Provide a Safe and Family Friendly Event
    Raise Money for Shriner Children’s Hospital

    ENTRY FEE: $50.00 per Class (Riders may compete in multiple classes based on motorcycle)
    DATES: Friday October 27, 2017 Training/Practice starting at 8:00am
    Saturday October 28, 2017 Competition Opening Ceremonies at 8:00am. Awards Ceremony at close of competition.
