I'd like to change the pipes on my VN 2000 classic ,Not looking for a change in sound or horsepower so much as just to get rid of the big ugly slashes .Is there a type I can swap out without remapping and having to get a tech involved?

If you go with an after market exhaust system with baffles that provide about the same amount of back pressure you shouldn't have to do anything to the bike to adjust for them.

Are you planning on changing the entire exhaust system, or just the mufflers?
