Greetings from a fellow Floridian and welcome to CF. I live more towards the center of the state .. Polk County. But we do ride over into your neck of the woods quite often. And, I'm pretty active with the Patriot Guard Riders out of the West Central area.

Welcome from South Central New York State

And after our 83'd consecutive day of gray, chilly rain I would just like to say to all my brothers & sisters in FL, AZ, NM and anyplace else where rain is a rarity "BUZZ OFF and DIE"

I go to the Leesburg fest each year. But I always make it a day trip so I can't really recommend a good place ot stay.
If you're of the mind to go camping, the ABATE club has a portion of a campground reserved and from what I've heard, they have a rascal-ly good time.

Yep. The winter months in Florida make for some great riding weather. Its just too bad that most of our roads are straight and flat.

You'd love riding here in PA..
Most of the state is forest and mountains with lots of winding roads.

Hey Ya'll from the Sunshine State....Me & my hubby love riding our Honda Shadow 750 V-Twin Phantom! We enjoy meeting others in the central Florida area that enjoy day trips on the weekend; especially taking the backroads and finding little mom & pop diners to eat at! Give us a shout if you are up for a ride sometime--we're rarin' to go! LIFE IS GOOD! ~Marlene & Roger~

Don .. I hear ya on the super slab. They're also hotter than back roads. Still, me thinks our back roads tend to be a little too straight too. You end up having to hunt for a decent road to ride.
