Went for a lunch ride with a bunch of my riding buddies yesterday. Just before we got to our destination, one of my good friends hit sand on a curve and went down hard on his Suzuki M109. I was two bikes behind him. Was able to get up and walk away but was hurting. Got home and his wife took him to the Emergency Department. He is in the hospital with a fractured Scapula, seven broken ribs and a bruised lung. They are going to keep him for two or three days for pain management and observation. Please keep him and his new bride (just got married two weeks ago) in your prayers

I always hate to hear about a downed rider Rob, whether I know them or not. Your friend and his wife are in my thoughts and prayers. Those ribs are gonna hurt for a long time.

Let the Spirit guide and protect our thought are with him and family.

thoughts and prayers for your buddy, lets hope he is back in the saddle quickly. Im not sure what your scapula is but ive broken ribs and they unfortunately will hurt for a long time.

Scapula is the large flat bone on the back of your shoulder also known as the shoulder blade.....
