    Bette Davies in All About Eve - she's my favourite actress of all time and this is one of my fave movies, along with Now Voyager. Anne Baxter was also superb in it and I think it was around 1950 (8 years before I was born). They just don't make em like that anymore :o(

    In the Heat of the Night - Sidney Poitier as Virgil Tibbs. Late 60's (1968/69 I think). Great film and superb actor. They made a sequel called 'They call me Mr Tibbs'.

    Probably right RufCut. Actually I no longer have television in my house. Terminated my cable (except for internet) about three months ago. Saving a lot of money each month plus getting more things accomplished. Still do watch movies though. Ya have to have some vices and except for Women, Movies, Jack,  Fine Cigars, Beer,  and Music I don't have any...
