Not counting a mini-bike with a lawn mover engine, the first bike I owned was when I was 15 years old a Honda 350 CL.  I can't remember what year the bike was, but since it was in 1973, I'm guessing late 60's model.

Looked something like this, except solid candy apple red...

My first bike was a 67 Honda 160 that a friend had sitting around.

First bike was a ragged out Suzuki K15. My brother bought it from a friend and gave it to me. At the time I was too young to appreciate what my brother had done for me. Living in the boonies of Louisiana, there weren't many shops around, so you had to fix things yourself. Keeping the thing running is what gave me the (learned) mechanical skills to build the bikes I ride today. Thanks Big Brother.

'78 Honda CR125 Elsinore. Bought it for $100 with a blown engine from my Uncle because my folks wouldn't give me the money to buy a "death trap". Rebuilt it in the garage and on the kitchen table and the love affair was born......

197? Honda Trail 70. It was the four speed with a clutch model.
Some of the other neighborhood kids had the three speed automatic.

It started for me when I had just turned 7, It was a hand me down from my dad's friend's son. I think we paid $140 for it in '75 and I rode it every day the first year and a half, then some a$$bag stole it and I moved on, but I still miss that bike..... and well every motorcycle since.

1st bike was a moped my dad brought home for me. Next real bike was a suzuki 250 enduro style bike. rode it forever. quit for awhile (kids &job) got back into it with a Yamaha xs650 which I chopped, went through several of those then got a 1982 Sportster and chopped it. Now ride a 2000 FLHTPI (police bike) better for my back and body.
