Trailer Hitch on Goldwing 1800

  • August 27, 2009 5:16 AM PDT
I am buying a small pop-up motorcycle camper so of course I need to put a hitch on my 2007 Honda Goldwing 1800.

Any suggestions on which hitch to buy?

Any tips or things I should look out for are also appreciated.

    Thanks

    Dan

I don't have any personal experience with Goldwing hitches specifically, but I have heard nothing but good things about Motorcycle Hitches from HitchDoc.

I would like to recommend a Kuryaukin hitch . I have used them and installed several.. Perfect fit very will designed .

I installed the Kury hitch. Have not pulled a trailer with it. I use a Pakit Rack. eems to be good enough.

Thanks everyone. Wound up going with the Kuryakyn Trailer Hitch. Picked it up online for around $275 with shipping.

Towed my trailer for the first time last weekend, and it worked great. You really don't even know its back there when your on the open road. Just have to get used to taking the corners a little wider (ran it over a curb or two at first), and stay a little more to the center of the lane.

Getting the hang of it. Just got back from a 2800 mile 5 day trip. didn't hit one curb this time.

How's it working out? Did you ever put a swivel hitch on the trailer tongue?

What trailer did you get. I am in the market for one also.

I have been looking at a hitch that has like a 6 point mounting connection. (Kuryakyn I think it is)
