Moody directional lights

My ancient 83 Honda Magna 750 will start up like a charm in the mornings, but when then when I'm first checking things out before the ride, most times my left and right directional lights don't work.  Then, after riding 5 or so miles they start working, and are good the rest of the day.  Anybody with any idea what that's all about?

Agree with the Rev and adding a possible intermittent connection that riding vibrations help reseat. COnsidering it is an '83 all sort of possibilities fore wiring gremlins.

Pull the lens covers, clean the bulb sockets with isoprophyl alcohol then apply a light coating of electrical grease. This should fix your problem.
