What is the best advice you have ever received for riding a motorcycle?  Let's here what you have to say.  I believe the best advice that I ever received was to ride like I was invisible to everyone on the road.  What good advice do you have to share?

Ride as fast as needed so that you can get out in an open space away from cars and assume their all elderly drivers who never see anything or anyone. Never ride faster than your current skill level!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I read an article years ago about counter steering and being aware of every intersection, staying out of people's blind spots, how to apply front and rear brakes simultaneously and properly, and planning an escape route.

In general I always ride like no one can see me,even when they act like they do.Always have your scoot in gear at a stop or a light, never know when your gonna need to avoid trouble from behind your ride.Always check if the lane is clear to move over, dont trust your mirrors try to snatch a quik look before changing your line or lane, that one has saved me & other riders from bumping each other, even in the same lane.
