Hog cooler

Has anyone heard of the hogcooler. It is a leather vest that keeps you cool
while riding in the heat.  ( hogcooler.com )
The reason I ask is because I have tried on several occasions to contact
the company by sending them a note on there website and have yet gotten
    a response.

Does seem pretty pricy for what it does. I know its hot down there in LA, but still think this s wat to much. I have found that wearing a long sleeve white shirt and keeping it wet works best for me. I keep a water bottle with a squirt lid handy and just soak my sleeves every time they dry out.

Bilt makes a Evaporative cooling vest that I wear when I ride across the desert in the summer. You soak it in ice water and then wear it under your clothing so that it doesn't get direct wind from the ride. It works great for about 2hrs until it dries and then I wet it again. I bought it at a place called cyclegear for about 45 dollars. Btw the indian's used wet leather as a torture device in the 1800s, so I don't think you want that.

Never heard of Hog cooler, but the type wheels is talking about are pretty popular out here in the desert. You just wet them and they really keep you cool. I also see a lot of the road crews wearing them.
