He told me to never grow up.. Thank God that's one thing I listened to.. When I was younger, he also said when I told him I wished I had a motorcycle, " Sh#t in one hand and wish in the other. See witch one fills up faster". I got a summer job.... LOL

Are any of YOU, gonna sit back and watch?....
Here's how I feel about that....
Arms to the bars, feet to the pegs.
No worries 'bout gas...God has my legs.

Ridin' this road, ain't no load.
Bringin' in Souls, is the ultimate goal.

I'll do what I can, and be glad when I do...
All that I do, Lord...I DO FOR YOU!

So saddle up, riders.  Clad in leather & Chrome
Go out to the highways, and be ready to roam.

For all that HE is, and all that HE'S done,
It's the least we can do...

    To see the JOB DONE.

HE Bled for us, and died on a cross.
For GOD the Father, the ultimate loss.

But God knew something then, that we didn't know...
It was ALL for OUR GOOD
So the least we can show...
    IS

    GLORY TO THE SAVIOR
    HALLELUJAH TO THE BOSS
    GLORY GOD ALMIGHTY
FOR TAKIN' MY SIN ON THE CROSS....

    afore you feel the loss
    let me just remind you
    I am not the boss

    I am but a sheep
    upon a tiny hill
    HERE to remind you
    to overcome YOUR will

    For HIS is the ONLY
    Love to live for,

And the sooner you know that...

The quicker I can hit the door.

I Love you. I Love YOU, just as you are.

I had a brief chat with a 87 year old Ducati rider at Dudleys Bakery two weekends ago. One of the things he said that really made me laugh was that he had ditched his Harley because they had gotten to big, bloaty and slow LOL. He had 62 years in the saddle and would have had more but WW2 had put a damper on his plans to get his first bike. I hope to be like him when I'm that old.

    Couple of fun items there;

    ·         Yup, that’s why I got the Buell

    ·         Brings up a great motorcycle story - Went back to Keweenaw for a college reunion & the riders among us were swapping stories when a WWII guy topped us. – His first motorcycle was a BMW liberated from a famer’s barn as they went thru Germany. The previous owner had removed the carburetor to prevent such happenings but being  a young engineer he retrofitted it with one salvaged from a wrecked Renault. – He had the class command vehicle

That picture is just so going out to our Legion Riders
