We are planning to go out to Colorado Springs in July and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for Great Rides out there. We plan on camping around Colorado Springs (Mueller State Park)  unless someone else knows a better location. We would be interested in train rides, gold mines, whitewater rafting and beautiful views.
    Thanks

Cog railway up Pikes Peak... ride up Pikes Peak (dress warm), Pueblo cliff dwellings, Garden of the Gods, tour the Air Force Academy, 2 hours north to Denver, then west for Central City, and other old west towns... an other hour north to Rocky Mountian NP... basically any road west will be scenic and mountains, east will be flat and farm/ranch land

All the riding I do in Colorado is down in the SW (Durango area) so not much help here. But just want to wish you a great trip!

I've only been in Colorado once, and it wasn't on a bike. The Rocky Mt. National Forest is a gorgeous place to drive, ride. The scenery along the way is breath taking.
