    In 2003 I bought a new Ultra with a sidecar, if I lived over there I would have had to crawl over the sidecar to mount from the left side. :-)

    I don't have any superstions but I do mount my bike from the right side.  Putting ones left knee on the saddle and kick starting the bike sort of carried over during my years of riding.

    For a short period I owned a 1973 HD 350 Sprint with the kicker on the left side.

    All the others were ofcourse on the right side. :-)

    Last time I saw a 73 HD 350 was in Hollister back in 2014 at the rally.They are rare.

    Last two bike i have had both had guardian bells on them. I was hit on each one. I no longer place a guardian bell on my bike and have been good so far.
