  • Dew formed in crystals across the upside of the gastank, the machine sat idly while its owner, partyied the night away some 50 yards away through the portal of smoke and dull red light...the weight of the dew stained the black shiny paint in long riverlike lines and spots appeared on the pavement under the bike. But the machine remained ever vigilent to the needs of its owner.

The double doors of the bar exploded outwards through smoke haze a solitary figure traversed the ramp and made his way across the pavement..his trail was followed up by the shouts of those left to carry on without him. As he walked his leather creaked and groaned tight in places and loose in others...a wearthered hand caressed the seat and wiped away excess dew gathered there...turning a knob on the dash, lights flickered into existance..a click on the throttle and a turn of a tap sent gasoline streaming into the bowl....The rider clicked the starter and the engine exploded into life. The rider idled up, warming the cold beast, while adjusting his apparel. He arrived in daylight, and now sported clear lenses. The air around cloaked him..it was mid spring and was like a blanket....pulling a lever and moving his foot, he slammed home the cog, releasing the lever he rolled effortless out onto the blacktop...a twist of the throttle and he was gone into the night air...
