  I still have no idea what just happened!

   I was simply eating dinner with Spyder when his mom came over. She looked at our meal and pointed to the Artichokes(I happen to love them being an AZ gal) "WHAT is THAT?" she asks.

  I told her it was an artichoke and very good for the body.Its a cactus blossom that is edible I explained.

  YOU eat cactus where you come from?

  Well not all of them but ...

  OMG! I know what THAT is, she shrieks. "Its one of those plants that the indians eat to make them go crazy!

  Huh? (was my intelligent response)

  You're getting doped at dinner!  Wagging her finger as she is backing away from me and glaring at Spyder.

  No no no we are NOT getting doped. We are just having a nice dinner.

  I will NOT allow this type of behavior! she screaches, Ill call the cops on you you you HIPPIEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

  Out the door she goes in a full huff, Spyder is laughing hysterically and me well Im sitting here waiting for the cops to arrest me and my artichoke....................sigh
