Are Helmet Laws Responsible For Increase In Accidents 2012?

  • The Governors Highway Safety Association released a report that states motorcycle accidents and fatalities for 2012 saw a sharp rise.  They like to point that at helmet laws (or lack of).  They bareley touch on the fact that 2012 had a long riding season and that a lot more people are riding motorcycles.

What do you think?  Helmets? Weather?  More riders?  Or texting cagers?

Here's an article on the report - motorcycle accident statistics 2012
