George Thorogood and the Destroyers to headline Love Ride 29 - Los Angeles, California area, October 21, 2012.
Love Ride 29 returns to beautiful Lake Castaic this fall and all proceeds to go to the USO, the non-profit that helps support our troops. Jay Leno returns as Grand Marshall and Honorary Grand Marshalls Peter Fonda and Robert Patrick.
In 28 years, the Love Ride has raised $20 million for charity and this year, with George Thorogood and the Destroyers headlining the event at Lake Castaic, the Love Ride should be able to add a nice up-tick to that number.
Love Ride participants, which have exceeded 20,000 in past years can start the day at Harley-Davidson of Glendale and other area Harley dealers before arriving at Castaic Lake for the trade show, bike show, stunt show, food truck fair, and the concert featuring George Thorogood & the Destroyers, Canned Heat, and the Strawberry Alarm Clock. The minimum donation for admission is $45 in advance or $50 the day of the event.
