The passage of H.R. 1566 will prevent lock-out diagnostics, allow access to parts and data, and allow riders the right to repair, modify, and control their own machines. Defeat of this legislation doesn’t just hurt riders - it guts the independent businesses that keep this industry alive.
Make no mistake: if they succeed, small shops close, builders disappear, and the aftermarket gets squeezed out in favor of corporate control.
