Finally I took the first ride of my life at 51, terrified but comfortable, snuggled up to my new boyfriend, whom I'd actually met when we were 5 years old. I had no idea when he started up that Harley, the thunder would wash unnecessary fears out of my blood and fire up my soul! My life had become clouded with too many losses and fears. Two years later every day of good weather means another chance to get on the bike and bring myself back to life again. Bikers have turned out to be the kindest, most generous and fun individuals I've met in life. Now I want to do more bike runs and especially get involved in charity involving rides and my new friends and "family".
