I'm part of a local nonprofit call Hair Peace Charities, started by Bonnie Diver a local radio personality, that provides financial assistance to local women who have been diagnosed with cancer and need to purchase a wig due to hair loss from chemo. We have been in existence for 14 years and help over 400 women annually.
I am writing you today to let your group know about a fundraising we are planning Motorcycle Poker Run for Hair Peace Charities being held on August 20th at 10 am starting and ending at Jergel's. Registration fee per rider is $25 and passengers $15. Breakfast bites and lunch will be provided. Each participant will receive a t-shirt.
