  I am pretty sure they are legal down here in Texas because I see lots on the road, especially out in the boonies. They sure do help you see a bike coming so I'm sure they can help prevent someone from running in front of you.

  For abstract art, ok. For a patch... maybe not so much. ps - Now you know why they don't give security experts paint brushes or give artists guns. I'm sure if they had an artist doing what you do, the crime scene wouldn't look that good either.

  I know I am jumping in late on this, but 5000 miles before the front tire needs replacing sounds really wrong. I get 12000+ on a wide front tire and 8-9000 on a skinny. I don't know what could cause the excessive wear on a front tire, but something is wrong. How many miles you got on the new one now, and how does it look?

  Like wheels said, the exhaust is something that is pretty easy to do yourself. Whether you do just mufflers or the entire system, should be something you can do in your garage. Then I would recommend finding someone who is really good at tuning and have them do that.

  Guess you expected to go to a place with over 1/2 million people and everyone would be just like you, and every business would cater to you and no one else. Sounds like you have places in the area you enjoy going to, so why don't you just go to those and let others who may not have the same opinion as you have their places too.
