    Orddy Most of the Mongols live outside the laws anyways so who are they to cry foul when they get spanked by the law. We do have too much big brother nose in our business and they need to back the hell off.

I will admit that the drag pipes on my Sportster are loud and considered putting baffles in them till one day. I was heading down a major secondary road on a straight away. I looked up ahead and there on my right was a minivan with it blinkers on to take a left (right in front of me). The operator was also on a cell phone with their head direct away from me holding the phone between shoulder and ear. Seeing the brake light go out I knew they didn’t see me coming (or anyone else for that matter). I dropped my bike down a gear and the thundering roaring sound alerted the driver and the brake lights came back on and the startled driver finally look in my direction.
    
    I’m considerate of my neighbors and when out on the road with the Sportster and my Road King does have some baffling left in the pipes. Not as quit as stock but not straight pipes. But all in all a louder bike is a seen bike. I’ve have off the record...    less

    NCrider I Think They sound good on certain Bikes,And being loud,Make Drivers aware that You are there. Stock Pipes on newer Bikes,Just dont cut it.

After I bought the loudest pipes I could find for my Vstar people knew I was there and that siezed to be a problem.

  He remembered dying and that the dog riding beside him had been dead for years. He wondered where the road was leading them. After a while, they came to a high, white stone wall along one side of the road. It looked like fine marble... At the top of a long hill, it was broken by a tall arch that glowed in the sunlight.
  
  He rode up and stopped the bike. He saw a magnificent gate in the arch that looked like mother-of-pearl and the street that led to the gate looked like pure gold. He called the dog and they walked toward the gate. As he got closer, he saw a man at a desk to one side.  When he was close enough, he called out, 'Excuse me, where are we?'
