SPUD 500

Start & Finish:  Boise, Idaho 

Start:  05:30 Saturday morning, 8 August, 2026

Finish:  5:30 Sunday evening, 9 August, 2026

Registration:  $100 received by 1 July, 2026.  No credit cards, cash or money orders only, mail to:  SPUD 500, 76 Clear Creek Drive, Boise Idaho 83716.  Include name, address, email & phone number. Upon receiving, I will email you the pertinent information for the event start. 

There are check-points.  Each will be open at designated times only. At the start checkpoint you will receive a start pin & map to the next check-point & at each check-point you will pick up the map to the next check-point to the finish where you will receive the finish pin & patch.

This is not an endurance run, not a race, not a competition & not an Iron Butt Run. You may encounter forests, mountains, animals, no cellphone reception & all kinds of weather.  This is Idaho, wait 5 minutes & the weather may change.  First year for the SPUD 500. Next year will be the SPUD 1000 & maybe another SPUD 500.
