The Rose City Oregon 500 is held the Saturday before Mother’s Day. This year the 53rd Annual event is on Saturday, May 9th, 2026.

Location:Start location and route to be announced February 2nd.

    Sign in: 5:30am - 7:30 am.
    Bikes out: 6 am - 8:30 am.

    THIS IS NOT A RACE.

Entrants will receive the Oregon 500 tour pin and/or year bar, official tour instructions, and a route card. The checkpoints will be staffed. All entrants are urged to strictly observe all state and local traffic laws. The winning time and mileage will be established by averaging all the times/mileages of all the finishing motorcycles. The entrant finishing nearest the official average time, plus or minus, will be declared the winner. Unclaimed awards will not be forwarded. In the event of a tie, the earliest entry wins.

    Suggestions for enjoying the tour

    1. Don’t ride alone. Ride in groups of 2-4 motorcycles. Too large of a group will slow you down at gas stops, rest stops, and checkpoints.

    2. STAY DRY WITH RAIN GEAR. This is Oregon in May. Dress warm. You can always take it off, but you can’t put it on if you don’t have it with you.

    Participation classes are:

    • 4 places time and mileage - AMA and/or nonAMA riders

    • 4 places time and mileage - AMA and/or nonAMA passengers

    • 2 places time and mileage - sidecar/trike

    • There are awards for

      • youngest and oldest passenger

      • smallest motorcycle

      • longest distance AMA and non AMA couple

      • sweepstakes
