  • (this is an old-fashioned ride with friends no food, music/escort/or raffles)
    All proceeds will go directly to the Charity: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for cancer research in memory of Laurie Amiano (wife of past president RT2 Charlie) who recently lost her battle with cancer
    When: April 20, 2024
    Time: Rally 1000 / KSU 1100 (give the sun time to come out)
    Biker Blessing at 10:30
    Start: Wawa at the corner Rte 539/Rte 70
    Finish: Rutgers Marine Field Station (Great Bay BIvd)
    Donation: $20
    1. You can donate at the ride itself or you can donate via Venmo. Every dime goes to the charity.
    2. There is no music, vendors, food, drinks, or porta johns (why we start at Wawa).
    3. Ride is one day only: rain or shine.
    4. The blessing of the bikes is optional.
    5. Brave the cold is a saying in case it's a little chilly the morning of the ride, so you still come out.
    6. Route is roughly 55 miles and takes 1h 15m.
    7. The ride is route 70 west to route 72 east. Turn right onto country road 563, at the end turn left onto country road 542. Take until route 9 and turn left. Turn right on Great Bay Blvd. End at Great Bay Wildlife Management Area.
    8. At the end of the ride, we hug and go our separate ways.
