Event Name Allegheny Jamboree Powersports Rally
Event Date/Time Thursday, July 13, 2023 - Sunday, July 16, 2023
Host Appalachian ADV
Event Type Motorcycle Rally
Event Description Big bikes or small. ADV, Dual Sports, Dirt Bikes, or ATVs/SxSs are all welcome (4x's please check width restrictions for each trail)! There will be trail rides available on Timberline, Marienville, Penoke, and Rocky Gap. Willow Creek trails are included in the ANF Trail Pass but they are approximately one hour drive from camp. Rocky Gap is approximately 40 minutes from camp and we plan to hit those on Sunday after packing up camp, for anyone interested. A few All-Skills-Level ADV Loops utilizing pavement and gravel/dirt forest service roads will also be available for those not wanting to tackle the trails (plated, street-legal bikes required for the ADV routes).

We will be staying at the Forest Lodge & Campground a few minutes outside of Marienville. Direct access to the Marienville/Penoke trail systems (noted as Pigeon on the hyperlinked trail map). We will be setting up in the Group Camp area. There will be access to water and the shower house. No power is in the Group Camp area. If you desire RV/camper spots, powered camping spots, a cabin, or motel room use the Forest Lodge hyperlink to reserve. Let them know you're with Appalachian ADV and type us in for the reason for your stay with them! They are located at 44078 Route 66 Marienville, PA 16239 and can be contacted at 814-927-8790 or forestlodgecampground@gmail.com. Contact Kane@AppalachianADV.com if you are booking something other than the Group Camp area for a discount code to the Jamboree event.

Trail passes are required to ride the ANF OHM Trails and can be purchased at the Forest Lodge & Campground or through the USDA USFS website. Cost of an Annual Pass is $35, a day pass is $10. Please review all USDA USFS ANF rules and regulations for motorized travel on the trail systems prior to riding on the trails (information found via above hyperlink).

A list of local gas stations, grocers, restaurants, and other local attractions are available on the Forest Lodge website. A GPX file will also be sent out prior to the event which will include local POIs. A goal of Appalachian ADV Events is to help bring Adventure Tourism into small communities to help support the local economy. We encourage event participants to stop into Marienville or Kane to grab supplies, gas, lunch, and dinner (Thursday & Saturday nights).

Please review our FAQs for answers to common questions including our definitions of ADV Skill Levels and Terrain Ratings.
