  • G.A.S. Vintage Motofest is having a leisure ride from Saluda River Grill, Piedmont through Greenville to Tellico Plains, Tn via Maggie Valley (wheels through time museum), Lunch in Maggie Valley then going to Tellico Plains via 165 (Cherohala Skyway). We want as many vintage bikes (pre-85) as possible to be on this ride. Share this ride with as many local vintage groups as you want. It will be a long leisure ride, the route is as follows start to finish: Leaving Piedmont (SRG), kickstands up at 8AM (Main St. to Hwy 20) turn on Hwy 25, then 276 to Brevard. Hwy 64/Hwy 276 thru Brevard then left on Hwy 276 to Waynesville, then Hwy 19 into Maggie Valley (Approx. 3 hrs., first leg)
    Lunch at Maggie Valley and Wheels through Time Museum 2.5 hrs. Leaving Maggie Valley at 1:30
    Maggie Valley Hwy 19 to Hwy 19/74 (Great Smoky Mountains Expy) then Hwy 28 to Hwy 143 to Robbinsville to Hwy 143 Cherohala Skyway to Tellico Plains, Tn. 2.5 hr. ride Arrival time Approx. 4:30
    Make reservations for the night at these 3 places: Mountain view Cabins, Lodge at Tellico, Farmhouse Inn, Ben’s Den
    Meet at Tellico Grains Bakery at 8:00 am Sunday Morning, leaving Tellico Plains at 9:00am
    Tellico Plains, Tn. Via Hwy 68 to Hwy 294 to Hwy 74 to Murphy, NC. Then Hwy 64 to Hayesville to Hwy 69 turning into SC. Hwy 515 to 76 to Hiawassee, SC. To Clayton, SC. To Westminster, SC picking up Hwy 123 toward Greenville turning right on Vardry St. ending at (4 hr. ride / approx. 1:30) Mac’s speed Shop, S. Main street – Lunch and part our separate ways.
