CVMA 48-1 will be hosting a ride to benefit the Anoka Haven For Heroes and to help raise awareness of Veteran Suicide and Veteran Homelessness. ;IGYSIX is a veteran term used to indicate to those contemplating suicide that they are not alone, their brothers and sisters in arms have their back, their 6 O'Clock. Ride will end at Route 65 Pub and Grub with 3 stops along the way. Stop 1. Full Moon Bar and Restaurant, Harris MN, 2. Scooters Bar and Grill and Smittys Bar, Chisago City Mn, 3. American Legion Post 225, Forest Lake MN The evening will end with a pig roast, some nice prizes and a live band! More details to come! Pre-Registration will be available Feb 15th at our website (http://www.cvma48-1.org/index.html). First 25 paid registrants will receive a commemorative ;IGY6 engraved bracelet. We will be hosting a silent auction at Route 65 for a ;IGYSIX House of Kolors wall art, a Memorial Firehouse US Flag Display and a M1 Garand. Auction will be for those that attended the ride only. Other prized to be given away throughout the night. Also, we will have ride t-shirts, ride patches (special inaugural), and CVMA support items for sale.
