  • Safety First! Due to the forecast of inclement weather, Saturday's Cumberland Gap ride is postponed and will be rescheduled for another time.

However, any riders wanting to join us at Fox Diner at 11:00 AM, as originally planned, are welcome to join us for a time of food and fellowship.

Meet at Fox’s Diner on Hwy 25 in south Rocky Top, TN at 11am for lunch, or just join us for the ride. KSU at noon. We will ride TN 63/25E to Cumberland Gap to the Pinnacle and then return through Clairfield/White Oak. This ride is fairly easy but with tight turns/hairpins as we go up the Pinnacle. We will return to Weigels in Rocky Top. Total ride will be less than 100 miles.

Adventurous ride to the Pinnacle atop the mountain of the Cumberland Gap. A historic site once visited by Ulysses S. Grant, 18th President of the United States, while serving as General of the Union troops during the Civil War.

The ride also takes us through the Powell Valley of Campbell County and by Lincoln Memorial University and Museum. We will ride through the tunnel of Hwy 25 to the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park. The Gap is named after William, Duke of Cumberland, brother of King George II. It was an important location post Revolution. Our bikes always seam to find ice cream shops. Wink, Wink.
