    Hey Guys & Gals

I am in the early part of the planning stage for a trip to Alaska. Can anyone share their riding experience for the Alaska Highway adventure?

Also consider the Buell site, not everybody on there is a Buell rider & they are a helpful, friendly bunch of mostly guys.
A few people have done some pretty extreme Alaskan rides.  Post on there & ask for help finding the links

I came down in 91-92. The Alaska Highway is now paved for the whole length, althougt the weather in the winter still tends to tear up the asphalt, so would have to watch for that. Beautiful trip. Unless things have changed, as far as fuel stops, best carry extra fuel. I believe it is a 1400 mile run up the ALCAN. I'm checking for a site I know bout for ya.

I know I have seen articles on riding up and in Alaska in Rider mag. Might want to see if they have any pointers at www.ridermagazine.com. Course, there is always the Alaska group in CF also.
