80 Spoke Custom Wheels

  • January 23, 2014 3:35 PM PST
I am trying to put some 80 spoke twisted wheels on my '02 lowrider that I am rebuilding.  The trouble I am having is the center hole on my stock rotors and belt sprocket are bigger than the hub.  Anybody know the best place to get rotors and belt sprocket to fit a 2" hub on these wheels.  I am in Oklahoma and would appreciate any help.  Ride on!

would a machine shop pressing a sleeve into the rotors and sprocket work and then cut any key way needed? I know I have done this on bigger equipment when we had the same problem.

I would say check with the wheel manufacturer. Give them your specs and they should be able to supply you with the parts needed or they can also tell if the wheel you have will work with your bike.

Figured it out, the wheels are for '99 and down, so just ordered rotors and sprocket for '99. Thanks for the replies.

It's nice to have someone actually follow-up on their post and tell us the end result. Glad it's going to work out.
