Planning on trying out the Boone NC Rally in June.  Anyone having been there previously, please list any significant pros or cons on the event.  There should be some Tarheels on this site that know information on past Boone rally events.   Several bikes riding in and tent camping from Richmond area so we are traveling light.    Wrong category posting

Seawolf, Sorry brother, hadn't been to the rally, but I do know there are alot of places in the Boone area to camp. Been thinking about going this year myself. At least for a day. I'm sure someone on here can give you thr scoop on it.

Thanks for the reply Bikermedic. If you decide to go and I can keep my schedule, I would enjoy meeting you there. A bike or two from here plans on leaving here on a Thursday of that weekend and tent camping down there for the duration of the rally. I will stay in contact with you. I do spend time in the OBX every now and again.
